Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said on April 3 that Russia’s Aerospace Forces have destroyed 51 Ukrainian military targets, which included two multiple-launch rocket systems and two artillery clusters.

“During the night, the strategic aviation of Russia’s Aerospace Forces has struck 51 Ukrainian military facilities. They include: four command posts, two launching systems of the Osa-AKM surface-to-air missile systems in the vicinity of the Barvenkovo and Slavyansk communities, two artillery batteries, two multiple-launch rocket systems, four field artillery and missile warehouses in the vicinity of the communities of Konstantinovka and Krestische,” Konashenkov said.

Russian armed forces also destroyed “32 defended posts and areas of concentration of the military equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces,” Konashenkov added.

According to defense official Konashenkov, Russia’s forces have used high-precision sea-and air-launched missiles to attack an oil refinery and three fuel and lubricants depots near Odessa.

“This morning, an oil refinery and three fuel and lubricants depots that were supplying fuel for the group of Ukrainian troops in the Nikolaev direction were eliminated using high-precision sea-and air-launched missiles,” the Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson told journalists.

Konashenkov also said that the Russian Armed Forces have eliminated 125 warplanes, 88 helicopters, and 383 drones since the beginning of its special military operation in Ukraine. “In all, since the beginning of the special military operation, 125 warplanes and 88 helicopters, and 383 unmanned aerial vehicles, 221 surface-to-air missile systems, 1,903 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 207 multiple-launch rocket systems, 805 field artillery armaments and mortars, as well as 1,781 units of special military automotive equipment have been eliminated,” he said.

Earlier on March 5, the Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson stated that Russian forces have destroyed a total of 2,037 Ukrainian military facilities including 66 aircraft on the ground, 16 aircraft in the air, about 708 tanks, and other armored combat vehicles, 261 field artillery and mortars, 505 units of special military vehicles, 74 multiple rocket launchers, as well as 56 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Last month, the Russian Aerospace Forces used its “Orion” (Inokhodets) drone to destroy Ukraine’s Aidar nationalist battalion command and observation post in Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). According to the Russian military official, more than 70 ground infrastructure facilities belonging to Ukraine were incapacitated by airstrikes.
