{"id":6520,"date":"2020-07-02T15:38:53","date_gmt":"2020-07-02T15:38:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/box5917.temp.domains\/~iriacom\/\/news\/?p=6520"},"modified":"2025-07-26T18:44:32","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T15:44:32","slug":"turkey-develops-indigenous-air-defense-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ir-ia.com\/news\/turkey-develops-indigenous-air-defense-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey develops indigenous air defense system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Turkish portable missile can be integrated to land, air, and, sea platforms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Turkey&#8217;s domestically developed air defense missile system is ready for induction after successful trials, the head of the country&#8217;s Presidency of Defense Industries said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing a statement on his Twitter account, Defense Industries Presidency (SSB) head Ismail Demir said that Sungur, developed by Roketsan with domestic defense industry stakeholders, is \u201cready to enter inventory after successful shot tests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The portable air defense system Sungur, developed by Turkey\u2019s leading defense firm Roketsan, can be installed on land, air and sea platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The air defense system has the 360-degree shooting capability day and night.
