{"id":4961,"date":"2017-04-04T21:05:03","date_gmt":"2017-04-04T21:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/box5917.temp.domains\/~iriacom\/\/news\/?p=4961"},"modified":"2017-04-05T11:13:34","modified_gmt":"2017-04-05T11:13:34","slug":"denmark-and-norway-sign-deal-with-saab-for-camouflage-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ir-ia.com\/news\/denmark-and-norway-sign-deal-with-saab-for-camouflage-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"Denmark and Norway sign deal with Saab for camouflage systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Denmark, Norway sign agreement with Saab for camouflage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Denmark and Norway have signed a contract with defence and security company, Saab, for static and mobile camouflage systems for their armed forces, the company <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"http:\/\/saabgroup.com\/Media\/news-press\/news\/2017-04\/saab-signs-framework-contracts-for-static-and-mobile-camouflage-systems\/\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two Nordic states will be able to order the systems over a four-year period as per the joint procurement deal between Saab and the two countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Both Denmark and Norway have decided to strengthen their armed forces and this is one part of that,&#8221; Anders Wiman, head of Sab&#8217;s Barracuda business unit, which is part of Saab&#8217;s Dynamics, <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><a class=\"tpstyle\" style=\"color: #993300;\" href=\"http:\/\/saabgroup.com\/Media\/news-press\/news\/2017-04\/saab-signs-framework-contracts-for-static-and-mobile-camouflage-systems\/\" target=\"_blank\">said in a press release<\/a><\/span>. &#8220;They will now have the possibility to order systems that will keep them undetected in all conditions and in many different environments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The armed forces of Denmark and Norway have long been using Saab\u2019s Barracuda advanced camouflage systems.
