The contract expands V2X\u2019s long-standing role in supporting the Marine Corps\u2019 equipment repair, logistics and sustainment requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the contract, V2X will coordinate the repair and sustainment of secondary repairable components, helping ensure critical equipment is restored efficiently and returned to service in support of Marine Corps operational readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SECREP program relies on a network of original equipment manufacturers, military depots and industry partners to repair, manage and return mission-essential components to service across the Marine Corps logistics enterprise. The approach allows repairable equipment to be recovered and sustained while supporting the availability of larger systems and platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cReadiness begins with sustainment, and V2X is proud to continue supporting the U.S. Marine Corps with integrated logistics solutions that keep critical equipment mission ready,\u201d said Jeremy C. During that period, the company has provided logistics expertise focused on repair coordination, supply-chain management and lifecycle sustainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program is intended to help reduce repair cycle times, improve equipment availability and control sustainment costs by coordinating the movement of repairable components through the Marine Corps\u2019 broader logistics network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The contract also demonstrates the importance of component-level sustainment to military readiness. Equipment availability depends not only on major platforms and systems but also on the timely repair and return of individual components required to keep those systems operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>V2X Expands Aircraft Sustainment Support for U.S. Navy and Air Force<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Marine Corps award comes as V2X continues to expand its portfolio of U.S. military sustainment programs, including contracts supporting Navy carrier aviation and the Air Force\u2019s C-12 Huron fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V2X has received an $87 million U.S. Navy contract to overhaul and modernize SUU-79 pylons used on F\/A-18E\/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SUU-79 pylon is mounted beneath an aircraft wing and provides the structural and electrical connection between the aircraft and externally carried stores, including weapons, fuel tanks and other mission equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although relatively small compared with major aircraft systems, pylons operate under demanding conditions. Maintaining its structural integrity and electrical functionality is therefore important to ensuring aircraft can safely carry their authorized mission equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V2X will conduct the Navy work at its facility in Indianapolis under a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery\/indefinite-quantity contract. The program is expected to continue through January 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The contract provides additional sustainment capacity for the Navy\u2019s F\/A-18E\/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler fleets, which continue to perform important carrier aviation and electronic warfare missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V2X is also continuing to support the U.S. Air Force\u2019s C-12 Huron fleet under an indefinite-delivery\/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling value of $500 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under that contract, V2X provides Contractor Logistics Support for the globally deployed C-12 fleet through June 2031. The C-12 Huron supports time-sensitive transportation of personnel and cargo, medical evacuation and flight-test missions for organizations including Air Force Materiel Command, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency and Pacific Air Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s responsibilities include aircraft maintenance, supply-chain management, engineering and logistics support. The Air Force\u2019s C-12 contract, meanwhile, provides broader contractor logistics support covering maintenance, engineering, supply-chain and operational requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, these programs demonstrate how sustainment extends beyond major platforms such as aircraft, vehicles and weapons systems. Smaller components, repair networks, spare parts and logistics processes can all influence whether a military system is available when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective management of secondary repairables can help the Marine Corps prevent equipment from remaining unavailable because of repair delays, parts shortages or inefficient logistics processes. Coordinating the repair chain also enables the service to make greater use of existing equipment while potentially reducing the need for unnecessary replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latest Marine Corps award further strengthens the V2X&#8217;s position as a major provider of integrated logistics and sustainment services to the U.S. defense sector. The company combines engineering, supply-chain management, maintenance and mission-support capabilities across programs serving military customers in the United States and overseas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The up-to-$500 million Marine Corps contract therefore represents more than a large logistics award. It provides V2X with a continued role in a critical part of the Marine Corps\u2019 readiness infrastructure, where the timely repair, management and return of equipment can directly affect the availability of operational forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the U.S. military continues to operate complex fleets and equipment over extended service lives, demand for such sustainment capabilities is likely to remain important.
