Officials highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects designed to increase trade and transport between the neighboring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Construction is continuing on a second cross-border railway connecting China and Mongolia, which is expected to become an important transportation corridor for goods and people. The countries also expressed support for advancing the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor as part of broader regional development efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chinese officials encouraged deeper cooperation in sectors such as trade, energy, green development, digital technology, and critical minerals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh said bilateral trade is expected to reach around $20 billion this year, reflecting the growing economic relationship between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">China also announced several measures aimed at supporting Mongolia\u2019s development and public welfare.
