The warships are designed for multi-role operations, including anti-submarine warfare, surface strike missions, and air defense capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the agreement, the first three frigates will be built in Japan and delivered from 2029 onward. After this initial phase, production will transition to Australia, with construction planned at the Henderson shipyard near Perth in Western Australia.
