Russia has repeatedly positioned itself as a mediator, insisting that the crisis cannot be resolved through military means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>China as a Stabilizing Force<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>China has also called for restraint while quietly expanding its diplomatic engagement.
