In a post on his Truth Social platform, President Trump characterized the initial discussions as &#8220;very good,&#8221; stating that change had been &#8220;negotiated in a friendly, but constructive, manner.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump further emphasized the mutual benefits of the talks, adding, &#8220;We want to see, for the good of both China and the U.S., an opening up of China to American business.
