{"id":2613,"date":"2015-06-04T13:05:03","date_gmt":"2015-06-04T13:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/box5917.temp.domains\/~iriacom\/\/news\/?p=2613"},"modified":"2015-06-04T13:05:03","modified_gmt":"2015-06-04T13:05:03","slug":"pakistan-and-kashmir-are-inseparable-clarifies-pakistans-army-chief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ir-ia.com\/news\/pakistan-and-kashmir-are-inseparable-clarifies-pakistans-army-chief\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable, clarifies Pakistan&#8217;s Army Chief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ISLAMABAD (Pakistan) &#8211; In one of his strongest remarks on Kashmir, Pakistan&#8217;s\u00a0Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday said that Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable, and that Kashmir is &#8220;an unfinished agenda of partition&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The statement was tweeted by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Asim Bajwa.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of partition,Pak &amp;Kashmir are inseparable.While we wish peace, stability in region,we want Kashmir&#8217;s&#8230;5\/6<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 AsimBajwaISPR (@AsimBajwaISPR) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AsimBajwaISPR\/status\/605983459106897920\">June 3, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><script src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Addressing a conference at the National Defense University, the army chief said, &#8220;While we wish for peace and stability in region, we want Kashmir&#8217;s just resolution in the light of United Nations resolutions and as per aspirations of the Kashmiri people to bring lasting peace in region.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also linked peace with India to resolving the Kashmir issue according to the UN resolutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhile we wish peace, stability in the region, we want Kashmir\u2019s just resolution in the light of UN resolutions and as per aspirations of Kashmiris to bring lasting peace in the region,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parts of Raheel\u2019s speech were tweeted by army spokesman Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhile our enemies (are) supporting terrorism to stoke sub conventional conflicts and destabilise our country\u2026(we are) fully determined and capable of defeating nefarious designs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8216;Won&#8217;t allow any country to use proxies&#8217;<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">General Raheel Sharif further said that the \u201ccontours of future wars are fast changing\u201d but Pakistan was capable to defend it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said, &#8220;While our enemies supporting terrorism to stoke sub-conventional conflicts and destabilise our country, we are fully determined, capable of defeating nefarious designs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cPakistan (is) opposed to the use proxies versus other countries and would not allow any country to use proxies versus Pakistan,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">COAS also stressed the need for enhanced civil-military coordination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The army chief&#8217;s statement follows a flurry of similar assertions that India is involved in stoking terrorism in Pakistan.
