The United States Army’s 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC) is set to demonstrate its role as a leader in air defense for Europe and Africa during the 2024 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) annual meeting from October 13-16, 2024, in Washington D.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s AUSA event brings together military professionals, defense industry leaders, and global partners to discuss the future of warfare and military technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 10th AAMDC will highlight its advancements in integrating cutting-edge air and missile defense technologies, and contributions to NATO, U.S. European Command, and U.S. Africa Command. These innovations and advancements will be discussed during two key events at AUSA: the U.S. Army Europe and Africa kiosk and the Warrior Corner panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 10th AAMDC will participate in two key events at AUSA 2024, offering attendees the chance to learn more about its strategic and technological advancements. The U.S. Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR-AF) kiosk will serve as a central hub where allies, partners, and defense professionals will meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another main event will be the \u201cOutpacing the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Threat Through Continuous Transformation\u201d panel at the Warrior Corner. This panel will dive into how the command is adapting its defenses to counter emerging threats, particularly the growing challenge posed by small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS).<\/p>\n\n\n

U.S. Army’s senior officials including, commander of the 52nd Air Defense Artillery Brigade Col. Haileyesus Bairu, Senior warrant officer of 10th AAMDC Command Chief Warrant Officer 5 David Miller, and senior enlisted leader of 10th AAMDC Command Sgt. Maj. Kellen Rowley, will provide insights into the command\u2019s operations and demonstrate the latest developments in air defense technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior leader of 10th AAMDC, Command Sgt. Maj. Kellen Rowley said, “Over the past year, we’ve not only refined our operations but also introduced new methods and technologies that are driving the future of air defense.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rowley highlighted, “We’re excited to attend AUSA this year and showcase the incredible work our Soldiers have done in transforming how we approach integrated air and missile defense.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U.S. Chief Warrant Officer 5 David Miller shared his excitement for the event and said, “AUSA gives us a great platform to not only showcase what we\u2019ve been doing in terms of innovation but also to engage directly with the Army\u2019s senior leaders and industry experts. It\u2019s an exciting time for 10th AAMDC, and we\u2019re eager to share how we\u2019re leading the charge in innovation and modernization.”<\/p>\n\n\n
