The AI-based drone system would be deployed to counter the growing threat of drone attacks by Ukrainian forces in northern Russia under extreme conditions, with temperatures dropping to 20 degrees below zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the engineers and developers of the project, one feature of the Stupor system is its ability to detect and suppress drones using a variety of methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system can analyze and identify potential threats with remarkable speed and precision by leveraging advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. Moreover, it can intercept hostile drones within a 2-kilometer radius, efficiently neutralizing potential threats before they can inflict harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vladislav Kustarev, Development Director of Stupor LLC, said on February 26 that his organization developed the system to protect assets from drones. In addition, it is possible to integrate the means of detection and counteraction of other manufacturers into our system,&#8221; he also mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stupor was designed by the Russian Defense Ministry\u2019s Main Robotics Research and Test Center to counter unmanned aerial vehicles, including copters, under direct visibility. A prototype of the device was first unveiled at the Army-2017 International Military-Technical Forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, in July 2023, the Russian news agency TASS reported that the Russian forces used Stupor anti-drone guns for the first time with significant success.
