{"id":1144,"date":"2015-02-22T07:00:50","date_gmt":"2015-02-22T07:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/box5917.temp.domains\/~iriacom\/\/news\/?p=1144"},"modified":"2015-02-22T07:01:41","modified_gmt":"2015-02-22T07:01:41","slug":"either-full-deal-or-no-deal-iranian-fm-zarif","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ir-ia.com\/news\/either-full-deal-or-no-deal-iranian-fm-zarif\/","title":{"rendered":"Either full deal or no deal: Iranian FM Zarif"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Iran\u2019s foreign minister says\u00a0the country will\u00a0accept\u00a0either an overarching\u00a0nuclear agreement or no agreement at all.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking in the Swiss city of Geneva on Saturday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said Tehran\u00a0would not approve of an &#8220;incomplete and\u00a0vague&#8221; nuclear accord, but rather a &#8220;complete agreement.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNo other deal\u00a0will be reached before a complete agreement is clinched,&#8221; said the top diplomat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The comments came hours after his American counterpart John Kerry said that there were still &#8220;significant gaps&#8221; in negotiations over Iran&#8217;s nuclear program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/217.218.67.233\/\/photo\/20150222\/3b030866-5084-4f16-ac4c-e54fbb8e2412.jpg?resize=650%2C366\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"366\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Kerry also said US President Barack Obama had &#8220;no inclination whatsoever&#8221; to extend the talks facing a March 31 deadline for agreement on the political framework.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zarif also referred to the discussions at the deputy ministers level between the Islamic Republic and the United States in Geneva on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe deputies had good discussions, but no particular\u00a0agreement has been made\u00a0on the issues [at hand].\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Friday, representatives of Iran and the US kicked off\u00a0a fresh round of intensive talks on Tehran\u2019s nuclear program in Geneva to narrow remaining gaps ahead of the March 31 deadline for a final agreement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zarif and Kerry are scheduled to join the talks on Sunday and hold discussions for two days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers \u2013 Britain, France, China, Russia, and the United States plus Germany \u2013 are seeking to seal a high-profile political deal by the end of March and to confirm the full technical details of the accord by July 1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scale of Iran\u2019s uranium enrichment and the timetable for the removal of anti-Iran sanctions are seen as the major stumbling blocks in the talks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Iran has so far suspended some of its enrichment program in return for certain sanctions relief.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">HN\/NN\/AS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iran\u2019s foreign minister says\u00a0the country will\u00a0accept\u00a0either an overarching\u00a0nuclear agreement or no agreement at all.
